ළහිරු තිරිමාන්න ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රිකට් දිවියට තිත තබයි

ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් කණ්ඩායමේ ආරම්භක පිතිකරුවෙකු ලෙස කටයුතු කළ ළහිරු තිරිමාන්න ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රිකට් පිටියෙන් සමුගැනීමට තීරණය කර තිබේ.

ඔහු සිය නිල ෆේස්බුක් පිටුවෙහි සටහනක් තබමින් ඔහු මේ බව සඳහන් කළේය.

එහිදී තිරිමාන්න පවසා ඇත්තේ පසුගිය වසර කිහිපය තම මව්බිම වෙනුවෙන් ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩාවෙන් රට නියෝජනයට ලැබීම විශාල ගෞරවක් බවයි.

කෙසේ නමුත් ඇතැම් සිදුවීම් සමග මෙම ඉවත්වීමට ගත් තීරණය තුළ දුක, සතුට මුසු හැඟීම් සමුදායක් ඇති බවයි ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් කියා ඇත්තේ.

ළහිරු තිරිමාන්න තැබූ සම්පූර්ණ සටහන පහතින්.

It has been an absolute honour to represent my country for past few years. This game that has given me so much over the years. But with a lot of mixed feelings,I am here to announce my retirement from international cricket with an immediate effect.
As a player I have given my best, I have tried my best,I have respected the game and I have done my duty honestly and ethically to my motherland.
It was a difficult decision to make, but I cannot mention here the many unexpected reasons that influenced me to take this decision willingly or unwillingly.
I take this opportunity to thank the SLC members,my coaches,teammates, physios, trainers and analysts for their support and encouragement.
And my fans, supporters, journalists for all the love, support and motivation you have given me over these years. I am forever grateful to you all.
Thank you to all of you who have supported me behind the scenes throughout my career.

ළහිරු තිරිමාන්න ටෙස්ට් පිටියේ අර්ධ ශතක 10ක්, ශතක 03ක් රැස් කර තිබේ. එමෙන්ම එක්දින පිටියේ ශතක 04ක් සහ අර්ධ ශතක 21ක්ද ඔහු නමින් සටහන් ව තිබෙනවා.

සිය ජාත්‍යන්තර මංගල ටෙස්ට් වරම් 2011 වර්ෂයේ දී එංගලන්තයට එරෙහිව දිනා ගන්නා තිරිමාන්න එය අවසන් කරන්නේ පසුගිය වසරේ ඉන්දියාවට එරෙහිව පැවති ටෙස්ට් තරගයට එක්වෙමින්.

2010 වර්ෂයේ දී ඉන්දියාවට එරෙහිව මංගල එක්දින වරම් ලබන තිරිමාන්න එය අවසන් කරන්නේ 2019 වසරේදියි.
ඒ පාකිස්තානයට එරෙහිව පැවති එක්දින තරගයට එක්වෙමින්.
